Zion Lutheran Church lies at the very heart of the Arkansaw community. And it is indeed the heart of the community. Zion has been the gathering place for worship, celebration of marriage, baptism into the family of Christ, and for mourning the passing of loved ones.The Church has been central to the lives of the people of Arkansaw for 150 years.

One of Zion's members has undertaken a project to document the families that make up this unique community.
